Waiver Schedule
The offenses listed below do not require a court appearance UNLESS IT IS YOUR SECOND OR MORE SPEED AND SECOND OR MORE MOVING VIOLATION WITHIN THE LAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS. If you did not show the officer your proof of insurance at the time the citation was given to you. Then you must show proof of insurance as to THE DATE OF YOUR TRAFFIC VIOLATION to the Court. Proof of insurance may be shown with a card from your insurance agent or a current face sheet of your insurance policy. Failure to pay or appear may result in your Driver's LICENSE BEING CANCELLED/SUSPENDED, or the issuance of an arrest warrant.

Additional Waivable Offenses
The following minor misdemeanor offenses require a $100.00 waiver. If you were given a minor misdemeanor citation for more than one offense (same ticket) then your waiver would be $100.00 plus $25.00 for each additional offense with the exception of Seat Belt (Driver) add $30.00 and Seat Belt (Passenger) add 20.00.

Payment Options
By Mail: 1. Include your ticket, and mail with check or money order, made payable to the Perry County Court, for the total amount due. 2. Include Proof of Insurance (if not shown to the officer). Proof of insurance is required by Ohio Law. In Person 1. You may pay by cash or check during office hours (8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday). When the court is closed you may pay at the Sheriff's Dept. 2. If you wish to appear or are ORDERED TO APPEAR: You must appear on your date at 9:00 am. You may enter a plea of Guilty, No Contest, or Not Guilty. A plea of Guilty or No Contest will dispose of your case that day. A Not Guilty plea will continue your case to a trial date.
